2 new finishes and a WIP

Happy Spring,
I am just loving this weather.  High's in the low 70's in March, can't beat that.

Well my first finish is Part 3 of Oakhaven Designs.  I decided to take the hat off. 

My second finish is Spring by Sanman Originals that was PIF to me.  I decided to make it into a small pillow for my basket.  Fabric is 14ct Aida by Enchanted Fabrics.  I sure do miss them.

Lastly, is my WIP.  I am getting my motivation, I really need to finish so I can start on my sister's present.

Some finishes for 2012

Well I finally got a camera so I could update some finishes.  It sure feels good to take pictures again.  It gives me a chance to see how much I have accomplished in the last 3 months.

The first one is 2012 OHD SAL Jan.  I am making each months installment an ornament again this year. 

The second is the Feburary installment of 2012 OHD Sal.

I love seasonal stitching especially Valentine's Day.  Here is Valentine's Blackwork for Sanman Originals board members only.  I made it into a small pillow for my display.

Here is a Halloween Owl biscornu I bought from the Floss Box.  I can't remember the number.  I love it.

And lastly, I framed this for my husband's Saint's room.  I think I bought it from Arcadian Corner in Metarie, Louisana.  He loved it.

Tis Red Christmas ornament

I cannot believe it has been 2 months since I last posted.  I have been in a slight stitching slump.   However, I have some small finishes stitched, I just need to finish them.  I will post them soon I hope.

I stitched this a few months ago and just finished it into an ornament.  Sorry about the quality of the picture.  It is Tis Red by La D Da.  It was stitched on 18ct Cork linen and 12ct Sulky thread in Red Brick.

New stash

I am so excited, I got 2 pkgs in the mail.  I bought 32ct Belfast in Aluring Blue.  I love the cheerful color.  I am going to do the Sock monkey in the JCS 2011 Halloween issue.  I bought 32ct Luguna in Woodlawn to stitch a Beagle for my son.

I have to start getting faster, my todo pile is a mile high.

Lastly, is my Quaker WIP.  I saw where I got pink marker on the upper right corner.  I cleaned it and it is faded but I am afraid there might be a small spot once it is framed.  I am too invested to not finish it, guess it just adds character.
