A small finish and a WIP

Good afternoon.

Well since I am feeling better I got my stitching bug back.  I finished this cute little design by Blueladie Designs.  I will make a small cushion to go into my basket.

Also, here is a picture of my WIP I promised to show you.  It is Positive Thoughts.  I really love the colors. I just picked random colors from my stash.  I love using up floss.

As always, I really appreciate you looking at my blog.

A few small finishes

Gosh, where did the month go?  I can't believe it has been over a month since I have posted an update.  I had a cold/sinus crud since last week but I feel much better.  I am in the middle of part 2 of the Positive Thoughts sampler.  I did not take a picture but here are 3 smalls I completed this month.

1st, is Polygon 2 a Pokemon.  It is for my youngest son.  It was a freebie. I stitched it on 22ct Hardanger.

2nd is from the March 2013 Blueladie Design Newsletter,  I will make it into a pillow or ornament.

Lastly, is from the January 2014 Cross Stitch and Needlework Magazine.  I will make this into a pillow or ornament also.

Thanks for looking and have a great week.

I have some finishes finally

Hi everyone, hope everyone is keeping warm.  It has been nuts here in little ole NE North Carolina.  This snow and wind is driving me crazy.  We are expected to have more this week.  I guess I shouldn't complain so I will stop.

Well I have had a great week.  Yesterday was my oldest son's 13th birthday and today is my 16th wedding anniversary.  We didn't do much but that is ok.

I have some finishes this month.  I completed this pillow.  It is much cuter in person.  I used small buttons as ornaments.  It was Decembers SAL on Facebook.

I also completed this ornament for my son.  It is Cocoa by Sanman Originals.

Lastly, I completed this small Valentine design by Hands on Design in the latest Cross Stitch and Needlework magazine.  Eventually I will make it into an ornament.

Thanks for looking,
Mary

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone enjoyed their New Year's Day.  My family was pretty low key.  My husband Bill and my 2 oldest sons (Bradley and Blakley) are driving up to see the Eagles/Saints wild card game.  Bill requested that I crochet some scarves to keep warm.  I was so flattered.  I already had 1 done so I only had to make 2.  Here is one,  it is made up of double crochets using 2 yarns together.  He wanted me to put gold around it but Bradley loves Turquoise so I will leave it all black.  Just need to tuck the ends in.

I was hoping to complete this by the New Year but my sinuses have been getting in the way.  I hope to pick it up on Saturday while I watch the game. It printed out small and so it is way bigger than I thought it was.  It is going to be cute.  I have buttons to add as ornaments.

Well as always, thank you so much for looking and I enjoy reading your comments.
