Hi everyone,
Well it is almost the 4th of July weekend. My husband, Bill took off tomorrow so he can have a 4 day weekend. Thank goodness it has cooled down into the 80's because the 90's is way too hot for us. I am not sure what we are doing yet but it will still be nice.
I am always putting charts on my ebay watchlist in the hopes that one day I will actually buy them. My husband told me to buy some charts since we were making a purchase anyway. I am sorry the picture came out blurry but I got Rosetta by Ink Circles, Watermelon by Fancy That and a chart by The Prairie Schooler.
I then made a small purchase from 123stitch! I bought some 9x13 test swatches to see which one I wanted for the Rosetta. I chose the one in the middle which is 32ct Joblean in Sandcastle. Now I have to pick the perfect floss. I also bought some cream Luguna and some pretty beads so I can do Winter Flowers by Turquoise Graphics and Designs. It was in the JCS 2012 Christmas Ornament Preview issue.
I have also been working really hard on my Circle Des Cirque by Ink Circles. Here is an updated picture.
I have done some small finishes but I am waiting for the kids to go back to school until I put them together. I will post them when I am completely done.
I hope everyone celebrating the 4th of July has a fun and safe weekend.

Mary, what a nice assortment of stitching stash you received. In the picture with the fabric, you mentioned the sandcastle in the middle. What is it sandwiched between? Your Circle Des Cirque looks fabulous. What floss are you using for it? Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you Robin. The color is Carries Creation floss in "bluebird". I love all the fabric and is hard to chose but I have a picture that we bought and I am working with the colors. The top is 28ct hand-dyed Joblean in Chai Tea and the bottom is 25 ct in Vintage Country Mocha. Have a nice weekend.
