April Smalls Check-In

Hi y'all,

I hope you had a great month.  Sorry I didn't post this last Friday but I didn't realize that it was the last Friday of the month.  Thank you so much to Mary from Mary's Thread for hosting this SAL.

I finished my biscornu and I just love it in my basket.  This is called Bluebird Biscornu from Tiny Modernist.  I love it.  I did choose not to stitch the other side and opted to put a larger button on the back. This was stitched on 14 ct off white Aida and called for colors.

I also finished Black Spider by VerbenaCS on Etsy.  She has many cute and reasonably priced charts.  She also has a Facebook group and it is a lot of fun.  This was stitched on 32ct Belfast Linen dyed by me and misc colors.

Thanks so much for all of your kind comments.  Have a great month and Happy Stitching.

  4. I love the biscornu, such happy Spring colors. I might get brave and make one someday. The Halloween stitch is fun, I love patterns with lots of motifs. I guess you would say this is in the Quaker style? Love it!!
