I am sorry it has been almost 2 years since I have posted, but last year was a very trying time with lots of changes. I don't want to bore you all with the details but we now live in Kentucky. It is nice and we are getting to know the area.
I thought now that things have settled I can begin to chronical my stitching again. I bought a new sewing machine last month and finally got some really good thread. I was hoping to tackle my many finished stitching projects to get turned into something to display. Unfortunately, my kids are home because of a snow day. I am happy they are home, but I don't want to sew when they are here. Hope to get some done next week.
Here are some current finishes I have done. As soon as I make them into ornaments or pillows I will repost the results.
I just put the last stitch on this new freebie by Hands on Design. It is on her website. I used Carrie's Creation Pacific Blue and DMC 309 and 899 on light pink evenweave.
Next is a biscornu I created for Valentine's Day. It is called Simple Hearts by Elizabeth's Needlework Designs and it is in the Just Cross Stitch 2015 ornament issue. I did it with DMC 115 and 310 on white 18ct linen.
Well I don't want to overburden you with photos right now. I will try to post some more tomorrow of finishes and WIPS.
Thanks for looking,
Mary
Welcome back! What lovely heart pieces you have stitched! I like the design you used for the biscornu.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I love holiday stitching and the biscornu was a joy to stitch.
